Democratic Society is a civic organisation that connects people with the decisions that shape their lives. Since 2006, it has developed democratic governance processes, participatory tools and public engagement infrastructures across Europe.
In JUST4CARE, Democratic Society leads WP7: Communication and Collaboration. Its work includes the shared communication strategy, public-facing narratives, local communication support, participatory processes and the co-creation pathway towards the European Declaration of Urban Rights for Climate Resilience.
This role is essential because communication in JUST4CARE is not a final dissemination layer. It helps build trust, make local knowledge visible, return learning to communities and translate project evidence into formats that people, cities and European networks can use.
