REC / Kaynak Çevre ve İklim Derneği is a not-for-profit organisation based in Ankara, Türkiye. It works to produce data and information, facilitate public debate and formulate public policies in fields including climate change, circular economy and nature protection.
REC is focused on the review and analysis of just climate resilience actions. Its work includes developing an evaluation framework and an online atlas of solutions to support equitable and effective climate adaptation in cities. REC also contributes expertise to the Çankaya pilot.
This matters because JUST4CARE needs to understand not only which adaptation actions exist, but also under what conditions they become fair, effective and transferable. REC’s work helps identify criteria that can prevent adaptation from benefiting only those with more resources or institutional access.
