Espacio Bellas Vistas is a neighbourhood cultural association rooted in Bellas Vistas and other parts of Tetuán, Madrid. It builds community through everyday activities and acts as a meeting point for neighbourhood groups and local initiatives.
In JUST4CARE, EBV contributes to the Madrid pilot by strengthening local participation, reflection and learning on climate justice. Its role helps connect the project with residents, local organisations and existing community networks that know how heat, public space and social support are experienced in daily life.
This matters because a just pilot cannot be designed only from municipal or technical perspectives. EBV helps ensure that local knowledge is not treated as an input to extract, but as a central part of deciding what adaptation should protect, what it should avoid and what should return to the neighbourhood.
